Dr. Carrie Bassett has been studying and teaching about wisdom for more than fifteen years. She established The Wisdom Institute
in 2000.

Currently she is working on a book on practical wisdom. She also regularly publishes articles on wisdom, presents at conferences, and gives talks on the subject. In addition,
she teaches classes discussing wisdom at both academic institutions and community centers.
