Based on her study of wisdom,
CARRIE BELIEVES:

  that wisdom is not an esoteric quality, unattainable to all of us but the Abraham Lincolns and Nelson Mandelas of the world. Instead, it is available to everybody and we can practice to increase our own wisdom.

  that wisdom is practical and useful
in our daily lives.

  that wisdom is considered rare because we think of it as highly visible and large in scope and impact. However, it is also present in ordinary situations. We tend to overlook the “little wisdoms” going all the time all around us. They count too!

Wisdom is about what matters and what we do about it.

Definition of wisdom:

Wisdom is having sufficient awareness in various situations and contexts to act in ways that enhance our common humanity.
